Carytown is a vibrant and eclectic shopping, dining, and entertainment district in Richmond, Virginia. The mile-long stretch of Cary Street is home to over 230 businesses, including independent boutiques, specialty shops, restaurants, and bars. Carytown is also home to the historic Byrd Theater, a restored movie palace that has operated continuously since 1928.
